for astronomy—history’s fact which
may explain your starry eyes. One hundred
years later (well, almost) on August 10
the Musée du Louvre in Paris unveiled
its first exhibit—why your happy grin’s
a work of art. And fifty years later
our Congress chartered the Smithsonian
Institution’s 19 museums—your
omen, of course, for near-Utopian
genius. But meanwhile (if I may be bold)
just enjoy today: being one year old!
